Offspring nominations open 2026 · Divisions debut 2030

The Nominator Incentive

Nominate your stallions and offspring today to help shape the next generation of reining — and position their offspring to compete in dedicated Crown Jewel Nominated divisions beginning in 2030.

The idea

Reward the people behind the horse.

Great reining horses are made long before the show pen — by the stallion owners and breeders who plan each cross. The Nominator Incentive is built to reward them directly.

Beginning in 2026, owners may nominate stallions and offspring into the program. After 2029, those nominations mature into dedicated Crown Jewel Nominated divisions starting in 2030 — a new stage where nominated offspring compete and the Nominators behind them share in the rewards.

How it unfolds

2026

Offspring nominations open

Offspring nominations begin, each with secure digital payment. Nominated horses appear in the public Crown Jewel nomination registry.

2027–29

The roster grows

Each season builds the population of nominated stallions and their offspring — the foundation for the divisions to come.

2030

Crown Jewel Nominated divisions debut

Dedicated Crown Jewel Nominated divisions arrive — rewarding nominated offspring and the Stallion & Offspring Nominators who created them.

Choose your path

Stallion Nominators and Offspring Nominators each earn on their own nomination. Pick the path that fits — every fee, deadline, and form lives on that page.

For stallion owners

Stallion Nomination

Satisfy the annual stallion participation requirement through sponsorship, a donated breeding service to the Crown Jewel Stallion Service Auction, or Third-Party Stallion Nomination. The Nominator of record earns all applicable stallion incentive payouts for that competition year.

$2,500 annual participation · owner-exclusive window through August 15

Offspring Nomination

Nominate an offspring beginning in its birth year. The fee is set by the horse's age at nomination, so the earlier you nominate, the less you pay — and a nomination stays valid through the horse's competition year with no annual renewal.

From $250 per division · deadline October 15 of the foal's birth year

What every Nominator gets

The rules that protect your stake

However you enter the program, the same principles apply to every Nominator of record.

Nominators are paid
Incentive payouts are distributed to the Nominators of record — Stallion and Offspring Nominators each earn on their own nomination, awarded across the Top 5 placings (35 / 25 / 20 / 15 / 5%).
Your payout rights hold
The Nominator of record receives any incentive the horse earns in its competition year, regardless of who owns the horse at the time of competition.
Eligibility follows the offspring
A nominated horse is eligible to compete regardless of whether its sire has been nominated. Competition eligibility follows the nominated offspring, and incentive payouts remain payable to the Nominator of record.
"Elevate the Horse" promo reel
Every nomination earns a custom "Elevate the Horse" promotional reel — produced by the Crown Jewel team and shared across social media and live streams to spotlight your stallion or offspring, plus placement in the public nomination registry.

Full nomination rules, deadlines, and fee schedules are governed by the Terms & Conditions.
