Offspring nomination opens in the foal's birth year — and the younger the horse, the lower the fee. Nominate early to lock in the lowest fee of the program and secure your Nominator payout rights, even if the horse changes hands before it shows.
Why nominate early
The earlier you nominate, the more you keep.
Beginning in 2026, offspring nominations may be submitted starting in the foal's birth year — well before the applicable competition year. A nomination stays valid through the horse's competition year for the division(s) nominated, with no annual renewal.

Nomination fee schedule
Fees apply per division entered and are set by the offspring's age at the time of nomination — the earlier you nominate, the lower the fee.

Birth-year deadline: October 15. The nomination deadline is October 15 of the foal's birth
year. A $100 late nomination fee applies to nominations submitted October 16 through December 31. After that,
nominations remain available at the fee for the offspring's age at the time of nomination.
Per the Terms & Conditions, a separate nomination and fee is required for each division in which Nominator Incentive eligibility is sought. All nomination fees, late fees, transfer fees, and administrative fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
