The idea

Built to elevate
the whole industry.

The Crown Jewel Futurity Incentive Program rewards the Nominators of horses that place in The Crown Jewel Futurity, held during the High Roller Reining Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is designed to be simple, transparent, and inclusive — with no stallion nomination required for a horse to compete in The Crown Jewel Futurity.

Where do you fit?

The Crown Jewel rewards everyone who shapes a reining horse. Start with the one that sounds like you.

You have a 3-year-old ready for the Futurity. Enter the Level 4 or Level 2 Open at the High Roller Reining Classic — zero show-management retainage, no waiting period.

I stand a stallion

Satisfy the annual participation requirement through sponsorship, a donated breeding service, or Third-Party Stallion Nomination — and earn stallion incentive payouts as the Nominator of record.

Nominate a stallion

I bred a foal

Nominate an offspring beginning in its birth year. The earlier you nominate, the lower the fee — and your payout rights hold even if the horse is sold before it shows.

Transparency, by design

Where every dollar goes

Stallion nomination is not required for a horse to compete in eligible Crown Jewel Futurity divisions — but it is required for the stallion's Nominator to be eligible for stallion incentive payouts.

Why it's different

Advantages you can see

Zero retainage

The Crown Jewel Futurity assesses zero percent show-management competition retainage on entry fees — more of the purse stays with the competitors who earned it.

No roster requirement

Open to all stallions, regardless of production history — emerging and proven stallions participate on equal footing. Stallion nomination is not required for a horse to enter and compete.

A purse that grows

Significant added money today and long-term purse growth leading up to the Crown Jewel Nominated divisions beginning in 2030.

Nominators are rewarded

The Incentive Fund rewards the Nominators — recognizing everyone who shapes the next generation.

The Las Vegas stage

Held at the High Roller Reining Classic — an NRHA-approved Category 6 Level 4 & Level 2 Open Futurity for 3-year-olds, with no waiting period.

Paid on verification

Incentive payouts are issued following verification of results, eligibility, and required tax documentation.
